6-Week Group Training Class

Our Fresh Paws 6-week group training classes give you the benefits of learning alongside others without the overwhelm of a large class.

Each one-hour session is limited to just three dogs, so you and your pup receive meaningful one-on-one coaching while still enjoying the confidence, motivation, and social benefits of a small group environment.

Training is built on modern, science-based positive reinforcement and play-based learning, so lessons feel engaging and fun — not like a chore. You’ll learn how to communicate clearly with your dog and better understand what they’re telling you through body language, behavior, and emotion.

Together, we’ll build a foundation of real-life manners using games designed to strengthen focus, trust, and teamwork. Skills we work on include:

• Loose leash walking

• Impulse control around distractions

• Recall games to build reliability

• Cooperative activities that make everyday routines easier

You’ll also explore enrichment activities that boost confidence, reduce boredom, and help keep learning exciting at home.

By the end of the program, you’ll have a more confident, connected, and well-mannered companion — along with the tools to continue growing together. Want to keep the momentum going? You can build on this foundation with our Steady Paws Class or Canine Good Citizen preparation.

Every session is customized to your goals and your dog’s unique learning style. Together, you’ll work on:

Perfect for puppies, anxious dogs, or pets who struggle with grooming.

Help your dog build gentle, positive associations with grooming equipment, handling, and the salon environment.

This program includes:
• A 1-hour consultation with Marisa
• Customized grooming confidence plan
• Weekly 15-minute sessions
• Desensitization to dryers, clippers, tables, tubs, nail tools, and more
• Positive, enrichment-based exposure work
• Support for at-home reinforcement

This program helps create calmer, safer, more enjoyable grooming experiences — for both pets and their people.
